WILD EDUCATION Environmental Camp

Part of The Wetland Park Group

Our focus is on education and conservation through facilitating Environmental Awareness
programs with youth groups from all over the world.

Ideally Positioned

Set on a 500 Hectare conservancy with a variety of game such as Zebra, Wildbeest, Nyala, Impala and many more, WILD EDUCATION forms the ideal base for learning more about conservation in general and experiencing the African bush up close and personal.

Centrally Located

Based Hluhluwe - KwaZulu Natal we take away all the long haul travel generally associated with a trip to Africa making it extremely cost effective and hassle free. From your base at WILD EDUCATION there are many different day trip options close by to help enrich the wild life experience.

One Stop Destination

Close proximity to the largest game reserve in KwaZulu Natal -Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve and the iSimangaliso Wetland Park - Natural World Heritage Site makes WILD EDUCATION a one stop destination. With WILD EDUCATION's sister camp Amangwane Kosi Bay further up north we create a Beach and Bush experience to compliment the Environmental Awareness Programs we offer.

Wildlife Conservation

We put the focus very heavily on learning through experiences and it is all about the participants experiences while they are out here. From quiet solitude time to following a Dung beetle or a monitor lizards tracks down to the river or just sitting quietly watching the zebras graze close by we make sure the experience sinks in.

VOLuNTEER PROGRAMS

Albiza is proud to offer leading Volunteer Programs for
Animal Rehabilitation and Anti-Poaching.

Run by a small, yet highly dedicated and experienced team of staff and local and international volunteers, CROW assists over 3000 injured, orphaned and displaced animals every year. From mongoose, genets and monkeys to raptors, reptiles and antelope, CROW represents a second chance at a free, safe and sustainable life for all wild animals in distress. CROW is committed to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wildlife and believes in action and education with regards to the protection of all natural resources.

Situated on a 1200 Acre conservancy in Hluhluwe; Northen Zululand we offer the perfect base for rewilding and releasing rehabilitated wildlife. As a satelite station of CROW in Durban we always have animals that need care and releases are ongoing. Science forms a large part of what we do up here as well. We track and monitor key species that have been released to gather data that will assist in future releases to ensure we get it right.

Poaching is a major problem wherever there is a
conservation area with game species. Our programs are focused more around the first category but we certainly get involved in the commercial side of things when the need arises. Set on a 1200 Acre conservancy, WILD EDUCATION Camp provides us with the ideal base to do the induction and training phase of the program and then get into the field with our antipoaching and research teams.
